Youth Empowerment Workshop
These workshops are completely free community drama sessions for young people, funded by the Cheshire West and Chester Youth Opportunity Fund.
They are designed to support and empower the next generation by building:
• Confidence – helping young people find their voice
• Creativity – encouraging imagination, expression and new ideas
• Leadership – developing teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills
These workshops provide a positive, inclusive space where young people can grow, connect, and discover what they are capable of.

At Little Actors Theatre, we believe every young person deserves the chance to experience the magic of the arts — no matter where they live, what their background is, or what challenges they may face. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to bring our Youth Empowerment Workshops to Neston Town Hall: a welcoming, local space where creativity, confidence, and community can thrive.
For many young people in rural areas, access to high-quality arts opportunities can be limited. Large cities often have countless programmes, while smaller towns and villages are left without the same cultural experiences. We want to change that. The arts should not be a luxury reserved for a few — they should be accessible, inclusive, and woven into the heart of every community.
These workshops, fully funded by the Cheshire West and Chester Youth Opportunity Fund, remove barriers and open doors. They are completely free for participants in school years 6–13, ensuring young people from all socio-economic backgrounds can take part, express themselves, and discover their strengths.
Led by professional theatre practitioners, these sessions offer far more than drama training. They provide a safe, supportive environment where young people can take risks, explore who they are, and develop essential personal and social skills that will serve them long into adulthood.
