Mike Lockley

Mike is an experienced and accomplished actor, writer, director and drama practitioner who has worked extensively for fifteen years on many projects in theatre, film and television as well as touring all over the UK in many schools and community productions. He trained in the North West with LAMDA, having successfully completed a two year course and obtaining an Associate in Acting qualification. Mike has worked on numerous projects from Shakespeare to pantomimes and many Theatre In Education productions touring up and down the country to schools and colleges performing and directing curriculum based texts and, in some cases, new writing pieces for children of all ages. As well as this, Mike has also won a number of awards for his own writing including an All England Theatre Festival award for his World War 2 comedy “The Not So Great Escape”. Various film and television roles have also featured, most recently with a part as Gruffud in the US feature film ‘Dragon Crusaders’. Mike now runs his own theatre company based on the Wirral and a company operating weekly ghost tours in the city of Chester. As drama director for Little Actors Theatre Company, Mike has written and directed two productions in the last twelve months, which he finds extremely enjoyable and immensely rewarding.
